The Wolf Gang exist since 2006. The current line-up is complete since early 2008.
Musically the three-piece from Lübeck may be compared to bands like Tiamat, Killing Joke, Sisters Of Mercy, or Red Lorry Yellow Lorry.
Sometimes they are likened to Fields Of The Nephilim or The Mission.
The Wolf Gang play Dark Rock with influences from Metal and Gothic, sometimes even Post Punk, and New Wave:
Guitar, bass, drums, and occasional keyboards provide a powerful, dark sound for songs which always go for a hypnotic vocal melody.
The Wolf Gang have shared the stage live with bands like Mono Inc., Das Scheit, Coppelius, Masters Of Dark Fire, or Asylum Bedlam.
